Engineer to Artist

My transition from engineer to artist began in the winter of 2018 when I was inspired to create a completely new design of clock combining planetary gears and laser cutting technology.
"Why can't you see the gears in wall clocks like you can in expensive skeleton watches? There are wall clocks for sale with gear wheels but they don't move! What if the gears were oversized - as big as the face of the clock! How can I make gears beautiful? Can I make a transparent clock with see-through gears?" 
You will see in this website some of the art I have created over the last few years. As I continue my journey as a kinetic artist there will be lots more, I promise!
